Don’t mention the War!
This site is mine; I welcome comments, but please do not use these pages to perpetuate on-going feuds, air your negative views or grudges about those who comment here, or fellow travellers in cyber-space.
I am not at my PC all day and every day, so for the moment, any comments will be held in moderation until I authorise them for publication.
Thank you.
A brief final word. I am going to take down that post, basically it served its needs. As for us being “pals” well one hopes we are not enemies. The MyT site became foul due to one troll and a few racists. B&B set up an (initially) good site but after l’affair Brendano (no he is not a pal of mine, we met and had a pleasant drink or two) B&B showed themselves up. There is no point continuing to snipe, Patterson does his thing I do mine. In conclusion, as to “the police”, my views have not changed. However, I am kind to animals, help old ladies cross the road and even manage to smile at black and ethnic minorities. Shalom, Sal’aam.

OK. I am now well and truly lost.
I think you will have to spend a day on das Boot in the summer and enlighten me.

Hi Isobel.
I’m not surprised you are lost. I seem to been caught up in another cyber-war, so if you haven’t been keeping up with events, it is probably a good thing!
A day on Das Boot sounds a much more productive way of spending a day. I’m happy to crew if you take the helm!

Could we share?
I get v bored at the helm! I like it for about fifteen mins, then I’d rather be sitting and gazing about me.
An it’s not just you – I’m picking up mystifying comments on other pages too. All too MyT for words.

On your own head be it!
I have had some years experience of crewing, but little in the way of helming.
I’ll let you know about my various disasters before the event.
Re mystifying comments, I haven’t found any, but I’m not looking for them. Yes very MyT and that’s precisely why most of us are on WordPress!

Ok, we’ll have to make a date.
It’s a nice boat to helm, though harder in reverse!
No I wasn’t looking for mystifying comments either, but they started popping up. And sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me. You are right; I am better not knowing. have quite enough stress in my real life.
It’s exactly why I’m on WordPress and I find the feuds extraordinarily tiresome, so it won’t surprise you that I never go near B&B’s page.

Hello TP Archie.
Thank you for taking the trouble to let me know, and for the link.
I’ll leave a response on said thread, but essentially, and I think it a great shame, it seems that the Creative Writing, despite all the efforts, is not doing well on MyT.
I was rather hoping that my entry might create some interest in the Poetry side of things, but apparently not!

Just visiting. Maybe I could join you on the boat and be chief cook and bottle washer for the trip?

Hi Nym.
The way things are looking at the moment, it seems unlikely that I’m going to be able to make it, but it does sound like a lovely day out.
We are just starting out on a fairly extensive sort out the house and garden project. It is long overdue!. Then we have The Wedding, not to mention some weekends in Dorset in between.
